Environmental Audit Committee publishes report on PFAS

PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a group of over 10,000 synthetic "forever chemicals" widely used that do not easily break down. Once released, they remain in the environment and can accumulate in the human body over time.

Last Thursday (23 April), the Environmental Audit Committee in Parliament published the final report from their inquiry on Addressing the Risks from PFAS.
